BCE Fall Drive

(July - October 2022)

We invite all parents to participate in the BCE Fall Drive every year, while BCE volunteers educate our community about BCE’s mission and the positive impact our grant makes on every child in the district. The sooner and more accurately BCE forecasts donations from our parent donor base, the more volunteer resources we can focus on non-parent sources of funding.

Donations made during the Fall Drive or anytime throughout the year count towards a family’s annual campaign donation.

BCE Read-a-thon

(January 30 - February 3, 2023)

A 5-day fundraiser that promotes literacy, inspires TK-8th grade students to get excited about reading, and increases awareness about BCE. Students seek sponsorships to benefit BCE and compete for classroom and individual prizes.

BCE Read-a-thon donations count towards a family’s annual campaign donation.

BCE Annual Auction

(March 9 - 19, 2023)

BCE’s Annual Auction event debuted in 2018 and will be exclusively online and open to all Burlingame School District families. Auction items will include amazing parties, unique experiences, tickets to sports and entertainment events and incredible vacation getaways.

Auction purchases raise money for BCE but do not count toward a family’s annual campaign donation.

Note about COVID-19
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Although BCE has instituted reasonable practices in an attempt to lessen or reduce the spread of COVID-19, BCE cannot guarantee that you will never get exposed to the virus or get sick from it. By attending a BCE event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
